Franklin Jr. High is hosting boys’ volleyball tryouts on March 31, April 1, and April 2. Tryouts will take place from 3:30 to 5:00 PM in the Main Gym at FCJH.
To be eligible for the Boys Volleyball Team, students must meet academic requirements, meaning they cannot have more than two failing grades. Additionally, all players must complete the required Athletic Forms and have a valid physical on file before participating.
Robat, a former player on the school’s volleyball team, shared his excitement for the upcoming season. “I feel good. I was excited for tryouts for a new season this year, hoping we get better games and improvement from last year.”
This marks the second year of FCJH having a Boys Volleyball Team. In the previous 2024 season, the team faced a tough loss against Perry Meridian Township. Now, players are eager to train and improve.
Ding, a dedicated student trying out for the team, expressed his motivation. “Uh, because I want to play with my friends and have some fun,” he said.
Cuts for the Boys Volleyball Team will take place on April 2 and April 3, determining the final roster for the season.
