On Friday, February 27th,the show choir will be performing at Franklin Central High School at 6pm. Vocal Velocity will perform. It will take place in the auditorium.
The theme of the show is the Family Show. They will perform to Family Business, Anything You Can Do (combined with) Sisters, Grow as we Go (ballad), Brothers (combined with) Cheetah Sisters (combined with) Strangers Like Me, and I2I.
This competition is hosted by FCJH so they are not allowed to compete in it. Their performance will just be an exhibition. They will not be scored by the judges to place as a school.
“I love the people and the directors, but competitions are always a highlight of a show choir season.” said 8th grader, Kate James.
On Friday February 6th, the show choir traveled all the way up to Caroll high school for their first competition. But, the trip was worth it, they came out on top bringing home first place, and best vocals.
“The main thing that got me into show choir was my friends and choir teachers. They convinced me how much fun show choir is and how many new friends I will make along the way.” said 8th grader, Paisley Rabourn.
As the season continues on, the show choir hopes to keep winning and improving everyday.
