On Saturday, January 18th, five of our FCJH Band students: Dylan Long (Principal Alto Sax), Evan Koers (Principal Percussion), Krish Rajanhalli (Percussion), Starley Livesay (Percussion) and Levi Smith (Percussion) performed at the Indiana Music Educators Association Conference in Fort Wayne at the Embassy Theater under the direction of Dr. Shelley Jagow, processor of Music and Director of Bands at Wright State University School of Music. These amazing five musicians went through an extremely rigorous audition process and were selected as Indiana’s top 100 instrumental band students in grades 7-9 to participate in the 2025 Indiana Bandmasters Jr. All-State Band.
